Understanding Messenger

PTOffice has a very powerful emailing module and it helps if you understand how it all works. Here’s a very high level explanation to get you started.

Subscribers – Subscribers are members who have signed up to one or more of your lists.

Lists – Lists are what your members can subscribe to and allow you to target specific email sends. For example, you could have two lists – 1st grade and 2nd grade. You could then send an email to just 1st grade subscribers.

Subscription Forms – Subscription forms are what you place on a web page via shortcode to allow your members to subscribe to a group of lists.

Emails – Emails are the messages you send to various lists of subscribers.

Templates – Templates are predesigned emails that you can use to create any new email.
