Tasks/Slots
This article explains how to create and manage tasks/slots in a sign up.
Prerequisites: This task requires the user to have administrative access to the Sign Ups plugin. Some features may only be found in the Premium version of this plugin.
Instructions
Step 1: Navigate to the All Sign Ups area by clicking the menu item located under the Sign Ups main menu item.
Step 2: Click a sign up’s title to edit the sign up.
Step 3: Go to Step 2: Tasks/Slots.
Step 4: Click the + Add New button to create a new task or hover over an existing task/slot and select the Edit option.
Title – Provide a task name.
Task Description – Provide additional details about the task. Try to be as specific as possible.
Task Options – Select which type of task/slot this is and enter the various task/slot options desired.
Advanced Task Options – Check the advanced options you’d like to incorporate for this task and fill out the information as needed.
Task/Slot Categories – Categories are listed on the front-end page and allow your volunteers to sort tasks/slots accordingly. Assign this task/slot to a category if desired.
Step 5: Be sure to Save your work by clicking the Save button.
Once saved, the task will appear in the Tasks/Slots section of Step 2 in the Sign Up. You can edit, delete or duplicate a task from this section.
