Why Use Your Own Stripe Account

PTOffice, by default, comes connected to our default Stripe account. Why do we recommend creating and connecting to your own Stripe account? Read on for more...

Connected to your own account:

1. Funds are immediately deposited into your own account.
2. You can set the interval for when you'd like those funds to be deposited to your bank account allowing you to get funds faster.
3. You can pull reports at any time and in any way that Stripe allows.

Connected to our default account:

1. You must manually request funds to be sent each month.
2. Funds are sent shortly after the 1st of each month via Zelle.
3. You cannot set the interval for when you'd like those funds to be deposited to your bank account.
4. You will receive our single/generic report with each request (you can still pull your own reports from within your PTO Connect account).

Note: Stripe charges 2.9% + .30 for each transaction. PTOffice does not charge a processing fee of any kind.
